If you use the built in menus "where to?/points of interest/food and drink/pizza" for example, you will get results in thai. If you use "where to?/points of interest/food and drink/all food" and then type in the word "pizza" you will get results in English!

Thanks! But this may not work for searching buiding names e.g. Tesco?

Anyway, I found by trial and error that if I also put the older 2013.30 Thai English Map in the same Map directory, somehow the search results come out in English.

That trick was described by syzygy as used by tourists who return home to China with a Garmin bought overseas which cannot input any chinese characters. They load both local Chinese and English [pinyin] maps of China but deselect the latter in the map menu. Even deselected it allows for search of POIs on the unit's English keyboard but they can then be routed to on the Chinese map which is the only one selected. With AU maps, both Sensis and HERE versions can be loaded with only one selected to enrich the POI display. Best of course not to have two detail maps covering the same area selected at the same time.

At soon I will go again to Thailand, and my GarminAsus A10 incorrectly shows the Dual Map, and I use version 2014.10. But I want a new version

The dual-lang map (it's definitely actual with v2015.10 - haven't tried 15.20 yet) allows adress-searching in english only when you turn your interface language to english: not only keyboards, but mainly "Text" in language settings. Practically it'd been proven using the nuvi's 1xxx series. Have the same idea about A10. But I can't associate the resembling line in settings of A10. It differs, but not a lot, I guess. It should be tried)

I talk about incorrectly shows the Dual Map by A10, but not about search. Of course by using the Dual Map we need switch language to english in device. I'm talking about quite a different, here is an example:

regarding to thefatboy in the thai2015.20 the english only version is still current, but i haven'T seen any link
