As far at the satellite accuracy is concerned it's less likely to be good in the city where the satellite signal is partially blocked or distorted by the surrounding buildings. At your low speed karwagnr [~60kph] the GPS refresh rate is not a problem on the open road either so if the map's not inaccurate then maybe the unit is lagging. Try [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to see if performance improves. If it doesn't, try another map such as [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or Open Street Maps:
