OFRM Topo Latin is a mapset of:
- 3D Buildings FID 0 PID 0
- Road Map FID 5032 PID 1
- Contour Map FID 1825 PID 1
In Basecamp (card in card reader) I was seeing the map as almost black and white (with brown contour lines)!!!
Inside the mapset are two TYP files, I00013A8.TYP for the Road Map (Polygons, Lines and Pois) and I0000721.TYP for the Contour Map (empty except for a polygon for Large City).
In order to enjoy the full color potential of the map I renamed I00013A8.TYP to I0000721.TYP and changed its FID to 1825 with TypViewer.
In Gmaptool I changed the TYP file "only for FID 1825 PID 1".
Now in Basecamp I can see the map as it should be, full of color!!!

I copied the original img file to my 3490, there were the above three maps, each with a checkbox, but I need to have all the boxes checked or none at all at the same time (problem with mapset in one file and nuvis).
In 3490 I could see all the colors of the map but when I connected 3490 to Basecamp, again the map was black and white, so again Basecamp was reading I0000721.TYP (contour map) as the mapset's TYP.

Nuvi 2689 firmware looks for .gma, if you don't have it, map (with FID greater than 2200) remain locked, signed or not signed,
gimgunlock+mapsigpatch doesn't work with all new devices 2xx9 and probably in most of newer devices firmware.
