If the previous map is any guide, there will not be an English-only map.

If you HAVE the english-only Thailand City Navigator 2014.20, then prove it.

I am having the same issue, trying to install the last map in the OP. Originally Posted by wichakp

I have the current map (CN Thailand NT (Dual) 2014.10) in the /garmin/Map folder on the GPS, but it is named as gmapsup1.img - which I changed to gmapsup1.img_old to avoid losing it if something went wrong with installing the new map. I similarly renamed the patched JCV file.
Connecting the GPS to the computer then ends up with the Error 46 message.
Any ideas would be very welcome.

As usual unrar the exe, look for MapData folder, there you'll find files, unlock ,rename and copy in gps.
Don't keep 2 img in gps covering the same area. backup the older and copy in pc along .gma and .unl, then delete from gps.

Sorry Caty - I have become a bit lazy, and used to relying on unlocked .img files. Hence I haven't had the need to dig into the depths that you describe above.
However, I have a trip later this week, and decided to try and figure it out for myself, without requesting the forum for unlocked files. I did do a bit of research with my "problem", but nothing obvious popped up.
It didn't occur to me to unrar the .exe file - you live and learn.
I will now apply myself to your helpful solution, and promise to remember in the future.

Zumo 390 works fine but Zumo 590 show "Cannot unlock maps" when turn on the device. Any help?
