Do you have any idea which extensions, like ASR,G2S SID, SQLite,JCV can be stored in.System file on SD card?.. Or they can be stored in Garmin folder onSD card. For 3590 and 3790..


Orrr do they have to be on main unit .System folder?

Check if img is unlocked with Gmaptool, but if you don't have any message at nuvi start probably it's unlocked.
2)Try to rename other EU IMGs extensions and restart nuvi. Nuvi sometimes doesnt display one of the maps covering the same area.
3) nuvi 1xxx can store multiple maps in sd/Map/anyname.img . Rename the .img as Ireland & Uk.img and copy in Map folder.
Better to copy unlocked .img in sd, if something goes wrong you can remove it
4) this NTU map is different from previous NTU maps, it can be, as Ozboss wrote above, isn't supported anymore in 1xxx devices.

you were right the image was still locked on the Nuvi.I unlocked it with the protected garmin file toolkit.
It was strange because the nuvi never gave any message that the image was locked.
NTU 2015.10 working on nuvi 1690
