Hey Catymag: what's the reason You also put a link to the SQL.db which is the db-file for the SD-version (010-D1198-00.db).
The right db for the gmap-version (DVD) which is given by Ozboss and You is 010-11244-01.db and is included in the downloadlink for the gmap (stored in the Additions folder).
When You make an img from the gmap on Your PC with Mapinstall, the img becomes a new, own productnr. (whole map or some maptiles) , and also that productnr.db is used in the sql-folder on gps or sd-card. Then the Activerouting is working, not with 010-11244-01.db or 010-D1198-00.db in the sql-folder.

Hey guys,
which one should I download to have the full france topo map v3, and to have it installed in Mapsource/Basecamp?
I guess the files above?
I have used Garmin maps a while a go and i'm overlooking right now to install some new ones. But this world is evolving so fast.
I never heard about "db" files? What is it for, where can I read about it and learn about it?
I have downloaded recently the Topo Benelux Pro v2 map but can't find the "pads" that are new in the map, the function called ActiveRouting...
In the past I used jetmouse, is there something better since then? thank for any help how to get back up to date!
I always prefer to have the maps in Mapsource or Basecamp, so I can choose myself which portion(s) of map(s) I want to get on my device. I guess with the gmapp version, when you put that map on a sd card and put it on your machine you only have that map on your device. Also the use of Mapsource is maybe outdated and probably better switch to Basecamp. Sorry to put this here, maybe it's better to just put this under the general forum, I'll also make a new tread after writing this stuff!

Hi,
Download .gmap folder from post#1 or #2.
Unrar it and put this folder in C:/ProgramData/Garmin/Maps (Under Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1).
Open MapSource or BaseCamp : topo France v3 is installed and unlocked !
