Hey, thanks for the files. How can I install the gmap in basecamp? MapSetToolKit asks for a basemap, but there is none in .img format?
Hi,
Put .gmap folder in C:/ProgramData/Garmin/Maps and you'll see map in BaseCamp.
Thank you for the quick reply. I did that, but it didn't work. So I downloaded the locked version next, and unlocked it with a small tool. Works perfect now! Thanks a bunch!!
The location where to put the gmap folder depends on your windows version.
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
Windows Vista, Windows 7/8: C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps
Thanks! Links from post #1 work great. And putting the maps into the folders mentioned above also works for Win10.
