That did indeed the trick. I wasn't sure how to check, so I simply rewrote the flag, and now Basecamp can see it. Thanks heaps!

If it works on your unit it's correctly unlocked. BC should see it as it can even show locked images.

I have some dudes. I only want iberia (spain and Portugal) ntu 2014.40 garmín Nuvi 40 unlocked maps and jcv specific files for this map.
What files i need?.

I think file d3589110a.jcv is for european map, not for Iberia map. Somebody can confirm this file working on both maps?.

Yes exist a JCV for One country like Italy ,Spain ,but if you put the JCV Europe works just as well.I tried with my Garmin only South Europe. Works. You try to do a simulation, go on the highway and see the connections

The specific JCV for Region10 Spain & Portugal (nuvi x0) is D2919110A.JCV, for release 2014.30
For CNNTUEU 2014.40 is, probably, D2919120A.JCV

However ,as has been explained,the full file JCV works perfectly for any of the Regions or maps cutted
