Hi All,

Presented below is a patched CN Indonesia 2013.40 JCV file that should work without the need of Indonesia firmware. I have tested it in simulation mode. But I need people living in Indonesia to do some road tests to verify the pictures displayed really match the roads and signs at the actual junctions. Thank you for your feedback in advance.

Just for my understanding... does your request imply that the patching of the JCV file can cause the pictures to not match the actual situation anymore?

Like Caty said, it used to display a copyright warning picture at every JCV location on my device with non-localized firmware. Try and see for yourself. With the patch I can see a JCV picture for the first time. But I have no way to tell a picture is accurate or not, even with Google Street View. Hence need help from local people.

How do you patch JCV? I need to patch JCV for size 400*366.

Hi syzygy,

tested already in jakarta (capital city of indonesia) with my new nuvi52 US, the jcv is running and also showing with the right picture of junction.

Dear Syzygy.

I have already tried the Patched JCV on Nuvi 40 US. It worked properly and JCV is sign at actual Junctions. Thanks for your effort

Some asian maps JCV display on non asian firmwares devices, instead of usual pictures a copyright warning. This patch makes pictures viewable in non asian devices.
