    I use 1490T with US firmware. Here is my feedback on the patched JCV. I use with unlocked dual map and patched JCV, the unit will turn black screen after a while of running. I think other users with 1490T have the same result like mine.

    Did you get the same result with the original unpatched JCV? If so, then it is a firmware issue.

    Yes, it gives the same result with the original JCV. I recall that I saw someone's feedback in this thread showing the list of not workable models and the 1490T is one of them. Thanks for your quick comment. Your JCV patch tool is great. I wish I could use my 1490T with Thai JCV some day.

    I have a 1490T US that was converted to the latest 1490 Thai firmware several years ago and it has been working fine with all the maps and JCVs.
    The instruction of how to convert the unit is buried inside this thread.
