    1) You can use any of the 480*270 JCV files. If you use the split-screen files, the images will appear stretched and a bit washed out.
    2) It's neither of those. G2S files are 'GarminAdjacencytoSSID' files for recent units which have NüRoute technology. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Neil, for this map only 480*270 JCVs are available. One is a small, and one a big - I did not see any difference rather big file have a little more JC!
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

I see your point G, and you are correct. But my reply was a generic one in the sense of using the other files in a 765 or a 1xxx series etc in a wider context. He did ask about resolution after all.

PS: The desciption of the big and small files in post #1 as 'hi res' and 'low res' would prompted him to use similar wording of course:
    D2504140A.JCV (Hi Res)
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    ........................

    D3084110A.JCV (Low res)
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
They are of course both 480*270 and the only difference is in the number of views, not in the resolution of the view images.

I have downloaded the garmin mapsource directory of Europe NT 2014.20 but I can't get it to be seen by Mapsource, I copied it next to my Europe 2013.40 directory which was unlocked by Mapsource unlocker, but if I run the unlocker inside the 2014.20 directory it says no products found. Anybody any idea how to solve this?
    Thanks a lot

Hi Roger, I did read this, I downloaded a 2014.20 .gmap directory, just like the time before with 2013.40 I unlocked the 2013.40 with mapsource unlocker, but when I try to unlock the 2014.20 .gmap directoy it does not find the product, also tried it inside mapsource with the garmin unlock keygenerator but also says product not installed, also tried using mapreverseconverter but nothing seems to work, I just can't get the map to be seen by mapsource, if I start basecamp it won't start at all untill I remove the 2014.20 directoy

Already fixed! Probably the directory I downloaded was corrupted, don't know, but I downloaded an install file of mapsource 2014.20, installed it, unlocked it and it works!

Official gmapsupp.img downloaded over mygarmin is smaller then this in first post.
    Garmin change something, but what?

I made mistake, this post must be in CN NT thread not in unicode.

Note by catymag : moved to the right thread
