OK , Thanks for all the assistance & info..
Well, I have that IMG & the D3589090A.JCV so I Guess I just can't get PR View at most locations on the 42LM
Should I delete the GPS folder contents to try & cure the update problem ??

There are far less JCV images available for your 42 compared to your 3790. Re your pics in Post #159, when scrolling thru a [simulated] route on your 42, you need to press the 'junction view' words at the base of the screen when they turn bright to see the jcv image. It's different to your 3790 display in that respect where the image is displayed without that prompt.
Hard reset your unit after you back everything up if reinstalling GE didn't help, and then try again for the map update. You can restore your favourites later if you want.'Thanking Posts' are banned. Done a hard reset , tried GE again & still says no updates available .......
BUT if I have 2014.20 & the correct jcv file then there won't be any updates available will there ??

don't know why I missed that ,something else learn't from "Noeman" .....Great service

I'm totally new to the ASR feature and currently looking for the right ASR file for nüvi 2360. Found many ASR files in post #90. How to know which one to use, or do I use all of them, including the SRX file?

Yes ,ASR for nuvi 23xx are in post n90 and you need them all, run Webupdater too to be sure you have installed these kind of files:
