The answer is yes! Many POIs are in latin and in cyrillic and the Montana allows to switch to a cyrillic keyboard, so both can be used. The 2 maps from series60.ru work fine on the Montana and were a great help, many thanks to vit@liy!

However, in some details the map is faulty. If you want to be routed to a point of touristic interest somewhere in the country which is not at a main road, then OSM gives better results.
