For Nuvi 3490 Does it use G2S files i can not see any G2S files for 3490 on this thread.
Also do I need to update the gmaptz.img every time or the old file is fine.

Guys, a quick question from a forum newbie. I'm trying to update the Garmin maps in my Kenwood DNX5240BT, I've already updated the software/firmware on both the unit and sat nav. My question is - to update the maps (I only really need UK maps) do I have to download and install multiple files or is there one/a few that will do the job? Ideally unlocked of course :-) Sorry if this a bit of a thick question, I tried downloading the twelve files like this one (CNE_NT_13.41_MS_PORTABLE.part01.rar) burnt them to disc but got no response when I put the DVD in the player so assume I might need to download something else! Ouch, its been awile since i updated my 37xx to a 34xx withe the guide and applied full 2012.40 update.
Now i downloaded the new 2013.41 stuff from this thread, but i think this are not all the files?
Especially the ASR-files are missing, so my nüvi didnt recognise my voice now?
What i have updated in my 34xx so far:
gmapsupp.img - Map 2013.41
gmap3d.img - 3D
D3176100A.sid - Address Search
D3414090A.sid - Fast Routing
D3175100A.sid - InstaSearch
D3427080A.sid - TrafficTrends
D3413090A.db - Country State Search
D3048110A.JCV - Full Split Screen
Did i miss some files?

Oh, i found the ASR-files in post #31 THX!
