No, it won't work without ID fw on the unit. If you have an equivalent model (same hw) to an ID model [you will have to check if there is], then you can flash ID fw to be able to see the local JC Views. Not without risk unless you are sure what you are doing so don't try otherwise.
This isn't the right place for further help with flashing though.
