City Navigator India NT 2013.10 with JCV, SID

So I downloaded the second file and extracted the gmapprom.img. How do I go about installing the map on my microsd after unlocking with gimgunlock?

SD card
SD:\Map\gmapsupp.img
or
SD:\Map\ India.img
Files in Map folder can be renamed as you wish and you can put more than one map in this folder.

You can use the Garmin folder in SD but you can use only one map, named gmapsupp.img
SD:\Garmin\ gmapsupp.img

Coudn't read the map until I put it in the Garmin folder. Works fine now. Thanks!

Can some one upload the unlock image? I think it got deleted. I download the 1st file mentioned in Post #1. It is an exe file and when I run it, it is asking for GPS to plug in; what I am not sure is that unlocked version?

Sorry, but link from post #1 works fine, for me

Archive (exe) content folder MapData (with gmapprom.img Locked) and/with folder JCV and SID

After Download, you have in your PC the file 1310_Type1646433.exe [720 MB (755.198.710 byte)]...ok ,click with right on this file, and choice Extract here....and enjoy

Thank you for your awesome tips, I am able to extract image file and other files. My nuvi 255 does not support Junction view, do you know how do I use Junction View and SID file? Shall I keep them under Garmin folder and it will pick up and do I need to do something else

for 255 you need just the unlocked img, other files wouldn't work on your nuvi

Assuming you are referring to the mirror uploads, it would be best to say which ones. However, the .exe file direct links in Posts#1 & 2 [Type1646433 and Type1646448/Type1646460 respectively] are still active on the Garmin server.
