You need to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to search by address.
More details about the available maps in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

In 2013 nuvis just have it in the SD Card is enough, no need to activate before search; but in 2012 nuvis and before needed to activate (don't tested now, with new firmwares). I guess you will need to select Autoguia before search.
