Hi, can someone please tell me how to update the map? My Garmin GPS contains a lot of country maps, such as, Asia, Europe and Australia. Now I want to update the Australia map, so that I get the Tasmania map. Please tell me how the process goes because this is my first time doing this. Thanks!

arthur88, do you have the process figured out yet? If so, please share and your help would be very much appreciated.

I just need step by step instructions.

I figure out in my SD card, I will create a folder called Garmin.

I will create the following sub-folders:
    /Garmin
    /ASR
    046XA800.SRX
    046XA801.ASR
    /G2S
    D3221080A.G2S
    /JCV
    D3531060A.JCV
    /SID
???? (I can't find any SID files from the rar files I got)
    /SQLite
    D323200.DB
    GMAP3D.IMG
    gmapsupp.img

I assume if I got all the above files in the SD card, everything should work once I put in the SD to the Garmin unit. Am I dreaming? Help!!!!

You're actually a bit 'spoiled for choice' now, because there are mirrors of mirrors. Take your pick. And as to 'What's the difference between MapSource Locked and Unlocked?' .... [don't unpurse lips ..... mmmm...] Surprisingly, one is locked and the other is .... well, you'll work it out. Just read up: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

I understand from an earlier post that the provided ASR files are for 37xx series.
Would some kind person be able to provide the ASR2 files and SID files for the 34xx series or point me to where I might find them (not to use Webupdater) please as it does not show them.
