Hi, I did sucessfully installed the venus concised map however, all the chinese becomes like ????????? what could be the problem?

Most likely either your device does not support Asian languages or you don't have the proper Chinese font installed. Please google for a solution. If none exists, your next option is to install the English version of China map instead, see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Is this map compatible with the Garmin GPSmap62s? I plan to buy the device in a few weeks.

Yes. If your 62s is not the Garmin China version then you need the shift-corrected Venus Concise version. If your 62s cannot display Chinese characters then you need the English version of Venus map instead. All answers can be found in this thread. Originally Posted by Santol
