Thread: City Navigator Russia NT Navicom up to 2014.10

Has anyone got speech command working with this map? I'm getting "This function is not available for Russian"/"Эта функция недоступна для Русский" when trying the address search. Having only this map active & after changing country to Russia selecting city option causes Nuvi 3490 to hang with a blank screen. Any ideas?

You need to have file ru_RU.srd in the ASR folder. Without this file this function in Russian will not be available.

I do have ru_RU.srd in my ASR folder & finally got it working. The problem was with the 1st nnm-club.ru torrent originally posted when CN Russia 2014.10 was released. Being binary compared with re-loaded files from torrent in the post #50, two ASR files + D3368070A.db were shown as different. Updating those files from latest torrent fixed the issue. "ASR пришли в битом архиве"/ "ASR files came in the broken archive" which might be related with what I was seeing.
