Rog,
Did you create this from Bam-Bam corrupt links?
If so how did you repair them to unzip...
Don't want to re-download a download, did you fix em up?

Bye,bye
Nice Xmas pressie...
I just managed to squeeeeeeeeezzzzze this onto my 4 GIG micro SD card for the Nuvi 50.
The last topo issue was only 150 MB, this one is a whopping 3 GIG!
Works well this one but will have to find out how to reduce it to a lower plate area number to get a smaller and more relevant (to me) mapping area.
I mean who needs New Zealand, you can't drive there anyway!

@Schermann
What did you mean by the above comment about the v3 being only 150MB?

Hi there can I install this into Basecamp?
@aone1
Basecamp can see any image from a unit or sd card if the MS flag is set to 0 (zero). See Post #8 for how to create a preview map for installing into MS or BC.

Spoiler: CLICK
Sure, NP to split it to make a simple preview map, see Post 8 in answer to Post 7 & 6 which you quoted. As Ipmark said, use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to instal a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for viewing. Address search will not work of course. You can create a short-cut image if you want using MapInstall. This is Eastern AU being sent to a fake 1490 [an sd 'stunt double']:
The map image is viewable on BC provided the MS Flag is changed from 1 to 0 [zero] with GMapTool, or you do it with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in just one click.
