I just managed to squeeeeeeeeezzzzze this onto my 4 GIG micro SD card for the Nuvi 50.

The last topo issue was only 150 MB, this one is a whopping 3 GIG!

Works well this one but will have to find out how to reduce it to a lower plate area number to get a smaller and more relevant (to me) mapping area.

I mean who needs New Zealand, you can't drive there anyway!

Basecamp can see any image from a unit or sd card if the MS flag is set to 0 (zero). See Post #8 for how to create a preview map for installing into MS or BC.

My mistake I completely forgot, as I had made a customised cut down limited plate numbered version from Base Camp at 150 Mb so I could fit it into my Nuvi 50 internal memory.

Since I bought a 4 Gig micro SD card the bigger size file could be installed whole!

Sure, NP to split it to make a simple preview map, see Post 8 in answer to Post 7 & 6 which you quoted. As Ipmark said, use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to instal a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for viewing. Address search will not work of course.
