So true! Quoting Garmin website info regarding supported features of any 1xxx model is now almost pointless (althought i've done that too at times, even recently). Firstly, it's almost pointless partly because of differing supported features in the same sub-model range. 1300 for instance, initially LA, SLI & JCV were not supported in all US & EU releases. To add further to Giomen's comments, Lolypop000 also reported that in subsequent EU regional releases some 1300's had those features enabled out of the box. And secondly, loly's modded splash referred to by Roger and Giomen (change logo, same thing) has probably been applied by at least half the owners of those 'deficient' 1xxx's on this forum.Originally Posted by Giomen
