Yes These Maps will run on 3490 (In Europe, the pre-loaded Map is the NTU Map)

If you read post n1 you will see that JCV D3589050A is only for nuvi 30,40,50 becouse only this jcv work on this series.
JCV D3048080A is for all other nuvis, but won't work on nuvi 30,40,50.

On your nuvi 37xx go D3048080A.jcv

On 34хх 7.60fw, flashed to 3790 i cant use serch by POI name. Only by POI category. For exampe: press Where To, then Restaurants, then press on "Fast Food" category.
Now we have a list of nearest restaurants. But if i try to search any restaurant from this list by entering his name into "Enter Search", i get "No mutches found" mesage.
Same when i press any name on "Quick Search".

All files (SID and other) from post#1 placed where it must be. Any suggestion, please? May be rollback to 7.50?

UPD: Search start working when i move GMAPPROM.IMG from MAP to .System directory!

I made a try with CNNAM I have in sd/Map and search by POI names works in my 34xx latest sw.
I guess CNE should work too.

catymag, try to press on "Balanca" key on second screenshot. You must see only this restaurant in resulting screen. In my case, when GMAPPROM.IMG was in MAP directory - search show "No mutches found", after moving it in root of .System folder, search start work perfectly. Moving GMAPPROM.IMG back to MAP folder - another empty search result. I don't know about GMAPSUPP.IMG. May be with this type of map all will be OK. And i don't try with maps on SD-card.
