Cyrillic language is not for Russia (33 symbol) only! This alphabet is used in many country of Europe and even Asia. Ukrainian and Serbian languages for example have addition symbols. Originally Posted by Alexis_

Russian and Ukranian alphabets contain more letters (33) than any other language based on Cyrillic. Serbian has 30 letters. Originally Posted by Giomen

Modern Serbian alphabet is not based on modern Russian alphabet. Serbia is not former soviet republic. For modern Ukranian alphabet is actual too. Originally Posted by Alexis_
