    Hi Everybody ...
I was comparing, on BaseCamp, the differences between version 2 and version 3 of this sizzling map and I noticed this oddity: it is the island of Giannutri (Tuscan Archipelago), which has offset the roads to the north than on land, also you notice this on your BaseCamp?

If so, it is a mistake at least bizarre, isn't it...

Maybe the map creators are just a little ahead of us (timewise).
The next ice age is probably not that far away.
Global warming will end eventually (because we will run out of fossil energy deposits).

Again, I think the map creators are wise enough to look a little ahead into the future.
They take tectonic shifting into account, so that the map will be accurate in a few thousand (or more) years.

    Hi
It look likes there is much less details on the v3 than on the V2, especially on the track.
Have you also noticed that point. (let see the Backcountry of Cefalu, Sicilia)

    Indeed,
this V3 has much less info than the previous V2 regarding mountain huts and paths too.

This V3 is the 2012 road map with the addition of the elevation shadows while V2 was directly from teleatlas. right?

Thumbs down to V3; I will keep V2 longer
