D3048070B is detailed JCV, but some device like nuvi30,40,50 dont support this JCV (show only white screen), you must use lower detailed.
Save to SQLite, device select right db what is supporting in firmware. You can see in file GarminDevice.xml what files garmin device use.

The problem with the Nuvi 30, 40 is not the detail file. What matters is the file format. Nuvi30 not work with vector format, but only works with raster format JCV file.

ive got a nuvi 2350 and have updated maps from files on this thread.
I have a SID folder on my satnav with one file in the folder, any one know what this file is and can it be updated ?
