Quick question. I have a Garmin GPSmap 276c that I use extensively for motorcycle riding in the woods. What version of this map should I be downloading for this unit?
I have a 2 gb chip that replaced my proprietary Garmin memory stick. This is a chart plotter unit. I need the CNNA NT map but want to make sure it's compatible with a chart plotter (8 year old technology).
Thanks for the help.
@charleslasalle
At 8 years old, probably/maybe not. Check on the Garmin site, look for your unit under 'on the water'/'discontinued' and you can check if NT maps are compatible. If you get bushed, post again with your model details.

Neil & Roger,
The data card I have has been modified to 2gb. According to Garmin's website it shows that City Navigator North America NT is compatible. I am still confused as to which mapset I need to download for use on this unit. I admittedly don't understand the different versions available or which tutorial to use for that matter. Any guidance to the right mapset and the right tutorial would be greatly appreciated.
So you have purchased a modified Garmin Data Card with a 2GB NAND circuit, as described in this post here?: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Unless you have a way to directly access the nand, you would still have to send an image from your computer using Mapsouce or BaseCamp/MapInstall. In that case you need the MS version from Post #1. Read the instructions there and also in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for using MS versions and gmap folders. If as Roger guessed, you have a 276C, the maps from Garmin come on a DVD for your unit, but you should also be able to do the install as described in Post #1 and the tut.

Hi all,
After downloading the MAPSource version without issue, I have unzipped all files in a directory.
When I launch the msi file after few minutes I obtain an error message during the installation:
"Source file not found: ...\Disk1.cab".
Could you tell me please how I can solve this problem?
Thanks a lot.
Find first the Disk1.cab (is one of the folders), place/copy the disk1.cab, in the same folder like the msi file...!
