I have a problem with Garmin City Navigator 2013.20 map in nuvi 1390T. Device correctly see a map, but there is no Junction View any more in my device.
Structure of the directory is:
SD card root/Garmin folder/ gmapsupp.img file & JVC subfolder. In JVC subfolder is JCV D2504090A.
What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
@DTL5555
Is that how you named the JCV folder, as "JVC"? A common typo 'coz of the consumer electronics manufacturer - Japan Victor Company, instead of JunCtionView. That won't work - change the folder name to 'JCV' and it will work.

I made mistake in typing this post. It's JVC folder, sorry. Previous version 2012.40 works great with this structure, I just deleted old files and put inside new ones, and it dosn't work.
I also try to put gmapsupp.img to Map folder in the SD card root, with no success.
Thanks for your reply
Nowhere near every exit has a corresponding JCV. How have you tested it? Try a simulated route from the centre of London to Manchester, LANC. Scroll thru the route and after about 9-10 turns you will get several JV pics in a row. Also, did you turn the unit off and back on after inserting the sd?

Few days ago, when I installed it, I didn't test it at all. Then I went to 2 days trip to Austria, and at the highway I noticed that Line Assistant works, but there is no Junction View. Calculating and routing works brilliantly, without problems, except Junction view.
When I come back, at home I try GPS Off mode, to simulate driving, and it didn't work. I try to move map file from Garmin to Maps folder, and vice versa, but same result.
Then I try with some other JVC files from 1 page (smaller ones), with same result.
So I'm preaty confused right now. I had this device for 3 years already, I always used maps from this forum, and I'm experienced user, but first time, since I bought my 1390T, I can't resolve problem by myself.
Thanks for your cooperation.
P.S. Yes, I restarted my device few times, prior and after removing SD card, but no help. And yes, I always scrolled through "route" in GPS off mode, but Junction View was always greyed.

@ DTL5555
You are still talking about JVC, IT'S NOT JVC it IS JCV sdcard \Garmin\JCV
Here is mine working J:\Garmin\JCV (J: is my SD Card)

The map isn't the problem, so i wouldn't expect that moving it from Garmin folder to Map folder would alter anything. The problem is likely to be with the JCV file, however you have it in the right place (sd:Garmin/JCV/D2504090A) and if you've also tried another JCV file it's unlikely to be a corrupted file. Have you hard reset the Nuvi recently? If not, back up the files and NV memory and then hard reset it or better still also clear the Non Vol. but only after backup.
