Just gave it a shot and it works ok in a 1390. I sometimes have both a routable Topo and CN for the same area both selected together as it makes the combined geographic and metro POI all available to search which is useful and have never had issues.
So in this case I changed the FID of the Sensis version so it's not the same as Navteq, and with both loaded and selected the Sensis sits on top and is visible. The different sets POI's combine and are searched together which is quite neat, and the routing and navigating also seem to work fine.
I have to test a bit more to see how it handles the newer roads in the unseen layer but so far so good.
