    No, it means simply:
    there are all files from original DVD, but gmap folder has been unlocked with MapSource unlocker. I have also locked version, but I can't upload at the moment, because I only have internet over gsm. When I'm back home in a few weeks, I can upload the original locked version.
    But what disturbs you on unlocked version? It's working good for many people and nobody wrote something about problems yet.

    I agree that the unlocked version is probably working fine (at least at the moment). However, I think we simply don't know what Garmin is going to change in future firmware and/or software revisions. Therefore I like to have the original locked version (as a backup, just in case a new unlocking method will be necessary for future Garmin firmware and/or software revisions).

    Though it is hard to imagine but sometimes licensed software downloaded from here

    Any can lose the original disc and have problem with contact to the notorious Garmin service.
    So as for me I remember sweet times when Garmin sent to me a distributive disk of City Navigator by post service and I just needed to get unlock codes by email. Now for update map I need to digest 10 Gb on his computer every time for each device and install the latest Microsort modules before
    Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

    Is this a fact on the original DVD or is it just you added the old .typ yourself?

    @jpooh

    There's 10 new ZippyShare links in post #3.
    Also added 1fichier link and removed Anonfiles links.

    8 bits = 1 byte
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    2 GB ~= 1.86 GiB

    The makers of storage media counts in SI decimal bytes prefix (10^3) while most file systems count file sizes with IEC binary bytes prefix (2^10). Microsoft Windows counts file sizes as GiB but shows as GB.

    2 000 000 000 / 1 024 / 1 024 / 1 024 ~= 1.86
