Thread: NAVTEQ - City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2013.10 - Truckies Map

The Navteq maps for Australia are and at present are only released for these 2 units Nuvi 465T & dezl 560LT when it comes to garmin
it has taken well over 12 months since the release of the dezl 560LT here that updates have even started
the 465t had no updates for quite a while after it was first released here

I use the dezl 560LT for work as i drive roadtrains around Australia but unfortunately the trucking gps and data supplied in the navteq maps is miles away from been of
any real comfort while driving anything other then a utility around oz

The only part of the map that seems to work the best is when you set your profile to dangerous goods
it will then guide you onto the dangerous goods routes in all major cities around australia
and the high wind area warnings work well as do narrow road warnings

But if you drive a b-double or semi trailer or even a roadtrain the units will still navigate you down the wrong roads
and won't take you along heavy vehicle town bypass's etc or even keep to main roads that are b-double or roadtrain approved
instead taking you on lots of none approved road

So are you saying that this truck map will not work on a nuvi 1450t?
