True, every continent (or even every country) may report differing dl experiences with individual host sites, and as you mentioned, even on different ISP's. I mentioned Zippyshare not only because i have had a good personal result but because other members in widely diverse parts of the world have also reported a similar pleasant experience. If another site works well for you and the files are available, great. Let's not hijack this thread any further to pursue a discussion on File Sharing sites in any event.

Question when using a modded 37xx to 34xx with Navtech mapping:
Are SID files available for 34xx using Aus NZ Navtech mapping (none are available with Aus NZ Sensis mapping which was released with 37xx).
I think these SID files provide the keyboard searching feature where only relevant keys are available to press.

Does anyone happen to have the ASR files for 34xx/35xx nuvi's?

The downloadable ones on the forum only appear to work on select voice commands.

The map file on my unit is gmapsupp and the one download is named gmapprom can I just rename the new file and replace the old one?

Yes. Although if you have a newish unit that is still under warranty, it would be much safer to leave the original 'official' file on the unit but de-selected. Put this map on an sd or microsd card in a root file named Garmin. Rename the image file to gmapsupp.img. That way it will work in any unit model/type with an sd/microsd slot. It helps if we know what unit you have when you post. Don't have two maps covering the same area selected at the same time or there will be conflicts.
