With cityXplorer maps you can access all the information you need to get around the city you're visiting on foot or public transport .
If you're visiting a new city on holiday or business, a cityXplorer map downloaded to your nüvi helps you get around just like a local. The enhanced pedestrian mode gives you walking directions, including footpaths and shortcuts through parks, with landmarks indicated along the way. The public transport mode tells you where to catch trains, buses and tubes (where relevant) and how long it will take to reach your destination. cityXplorer public transport timetables ensure you arrive at the station on time and don't have to wait too long for your connection.



This first file (small CX) added to your CityNavigator Europe NT 2012.40 will allow you to use pedestrians features and public transports in every big city in Europe,the file will add CXs features(MMR) to the 59 Europeans cities in your already loaded CN NT ,in your GPS.
note : to use this file you must have CNEU NT 2012.40 in your nuvi .

Unlock EPM with .unl file made with Jetmouse for FID 800 on every compatible devices: 1xxx ,2xxx,3xxx etc.*

(Dont use unlockers , CNE FID or PID 2 etc, just FID 800 is present in this map).
Add cityxplorerEU_2012.40.img in "Map" folder along its cityxplorerEU_2012.40.unl file-

The second file is a pack of all the 59 European cityXplorer 2012.40 maps to work in every CX compatible devices* .

This is a complete map, you can use it alone in your gps or even along the CNEU NTU map.
To unlock pedestrian features and public transports add the FullCXEU_2012.40.unl file made with Jetmouse KG and FID 800.
(Dont use unlockers , dont use in JM kg. CNE FID or PID 2 etc. ,add just FID 800 ).
Put the two files in your "Map" folder preferably in sd.

Note:to have 3D buildings in CXEU map,use GMAP3D.IMG NT posted in CNE NT 2012.40 thread ,rename it to FullCXEU_2012.40_3d.img and copy it in sd along FullCXEU_2012.40.img (samename_3D.img) and delete GMAP3D.IMG NTU from .System .
3D buildings will show in CNE NTU and in CXs . Tested working in my 3790


More:

1) If you have CN NT map in your Nuvi use SMALL map, it wont appear in map list but it will work just adding cities EPM to your existing CN.

2) If you have NTU map in your Nuvi use FULL map, it will appear in map list coz you'll have another complete CN cities map in your Nuvi. (SMALL map with just MMR made for NT map wont work with NTU map)

3) To test EU CX ,fix the satellites in the city or simulate in one of the cities putting your position in the city.

4) EUcx .img name and .unl name must be the same ,different extensions- To make the .unl with JM Kg use just FID 800(no PID)

5) Both files go in sd in "Map" (not "map" - not Garmin) folder.

Before posting it doesnt work ,please read with care instructions

Both tested working in nuvi 1200, 34xx ,3790, 2xxx

Hi ermanno,
the nuvì 1490 is fully compatible with CityXplorer Maps, either with MMR_only version, than with FULL version.

• Your problem is: the CNEU NT version is 2013.10, the last known and avilable CEEU NT MMR version is 2012.40
• To well work together the two versions must match (they must be the same).
• You may use the FULL version of CEEU NT as well, disabling in case the CNEU NT

Is there a reason CityXplorer for EU 2013.10 is not being posted?? Vanish90 is usually very prompt with these versions.

The reason is very simple. Garmin not released CityXplorer for EU 2013.10.

No - NTU version of cityXplorer doesn't exist and in unlocked version enhanced pedestrian mode will not work.

if you install the Full remember to delete 2012.30 (or other old version) from the memory card, otherwise it might give you a problem.
