Works great on the Oregon 450. But is it no way to get this to work with Basecamp?

It's not a disk IMG-file, just a Gamin proprietary IMG map container file.
Copy to "[USB mass storage mode drive]:\Garmin\Gotalandv3.img" and start BaseCamp if you want to see the map on a PC or Mac. Otherwise you can use it on SD for a GPS in the appropriate path like "[SD card]:\Garmin\Gotalandv3.img", "[SD card]:\Map\Gotalandv3.img" or "[SD card]:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img" depending on the GPS capabilities.

There's no need to edit the MS flag since it's already set to 0.

what do you mean with:

I can read the IMG in Basecamp FROM the GPS, imported. But Im not able to open it without it on the gps.
