inside:
original mapsource with msi installer
unlocked mapsource folder

run reg file on 32BIT System
if you used 64 BIT changeg open reg file with editor and change line
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Garmin\
or use MapSetToolKit

Hi Thanks for the posting. I have unzipped the folder and installed it on my computer. Mapsource asks for an unlock code.

Please advise how to do this as I think I am doing something wrong:Animated43:

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I have installed Mapsource V 6.15.11

I also tried Mapsettoolkit but have no idea what to insert(please see screen shot)

As you can easily see I am not good at this!

Will try and read your link above as well

My GPS is a Garmin Zumo 660

Run MapSetToolKit, press Install button and then fill all fields . Start with TDB (press "..." and show extracted tdb), then input overview map, typ file and write "Registry name". After that run Mapsource.

Once again many thanks for your help.

I have tried to follow you instructions as best as I can however I think Either I have inputed the incorrect "overview map" img and
Registery name as when I click install I get the error message Families ID exist(please refer to screen shot)

Not sure what the next step should be!

probably you have another map with the same ID installed, check with check registry button.

Hi

I uninstalled the Navcity 2011.10 TR by Basarsoft using the uninstall button on MapsetToolkit.

I then reinstalled the Navcity 2011.10 TR using MapsetToolkit.

Unfortunately I get the same message when starting Mapsource:" requires unlock code"

Are my settings as per the attached screen shot correct as clearly I am doing something incorrect?:Animated43:
