Thread: CityXplorer Europe 2012.30 (all the CityXplorers in one file )

I did check:

I made a folder "Garmin" and a folder "Map" on a 4Gb microSD, copied "gmapsupp.img" into folder "Garmin" and "cityXplorerEU.img" and "cityXplorerEU.unl" into folder "Map"

I made "cityXplorerEU.unl" with Jetmouse KG 1.5, NO expert mode, used serial number of the microSD and FID 800.

"gmapsupp.img" is from Mapsource 6.13.7, MapReverseConverter 4.2 and unlocked in Mapsource with latest "unlock mapset.exe"

Tested on a nuvi 1200 SW 5.40, flashed to "ENABLE HIDDEN FEATURES IN YOUR NÜVI 12XX, 13XX AND 14XX. Lane assist, JCV, speed limit indicator" and on a nuvi 1450, latest firmware, genuine.

The same result on both nuvis: with SD inserted in "Usage Mode" I can select "Automobile - Pedestrian Powered by cityXplorer - Bicycle" and in pedestrian mode information about public transport is available. The routing is working for public transport.

If I rename "cityXplorerEU.unl" to "cityXplorerEU.unlxxx" - so "cityXplorerEU.img" is NOT unlocked - I can select "Automobile - Pedestrian - Bicycle" and in pedestrian mode there is NO information about public transport.

BUT: in both cases cityXplorer map do not show in Tools - Settings - Map - Info !!!!!!!

EDIT: I did use the small CX-file! So it is ok that cityXplorer does not show up as a separate map!!
