Sorry, it's long ago that I installed a Garmin map, hence my questions.

Correctly unlocked CN.img has fully working routing function in gps.
Gmap folder copied in the right place offers the same functionality in Mapsource than the map installed with msi installer (if you have a recent Mapsource version)
You'd need a recent Mapsource coz with old versions you'd need to modify the registry to install the map with just gmap folder and also old Mapsource doesnt show new maps DEM
