Thread: City Navigator Middle East & Northern Africa NT 2012.30

I have download the Image: Locked above without using any Unlocker tools to my nuvi 250W.

After I copy the looked IMG to Device:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img, I found the CNME 2012.3 in Setting/Map/Map Info. which means the Loked IMG working in my nuvi without any unlocker tool!!!!!

Please advice


EDIT 1:
I repeat the same test on nuvi 215W and nuvi 205 by copying the Locked IMG above without using any unlocker tool to Device:\Garmin of each one of them.

The result was positive, I got message says "Can't Unlock Maps" after I switched on the nuvi device.


It seems to be my nuvi 250W has magic



EDIT 2:
I have Junction view doesn’t work in my nuvi 1410, which suppose to work and to Garmin specification.

I updated the nuvi software to latest version 5.40.

I have the following configuration for CN Midlle East 2012.30 Inside nuvi device:
Device:\.System\JCV Folder\ D3058040A.JCV + Device:\.System\ gmapprom.img (Installed through MapSource as gmapsupp.img then renamed)

Device:\Map\gmapsupp.img + 74b93f46-a576-47ea-b9f5-4919eef2ee72.gma

I simulate the junction view on nuvi 1410 between the following two points:
Test point 1 : N24 30.262 E54 39.520
Test point 2: N24 29.395 E54 38.832
and doesn't work!!!!!

I used the same jcv File in nuvi 3790 with the same simulation points, and found working properly.

Please help.

Please read answer on your post! Already I wrote you about JCV in nuvi 1410 in earlier your post. It does work only with modified software that you can find on this forum.

In my country it say - The left leg do not know what do the right hand at some moment!

There is the table in owner manual in which described a functionality for each model of 1xxx series. It is not absolute truth too but it is more look as reality in most case.
