I couldn't unlock cityXplorer Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo with FID=2502 and PID=2 for MMR / EPM on my nüvi® 1200, but your cityXplorer South America (All) is running OK with FID=800...

Most newer units with FW from 2010 and later have problems with maps that have MapID/FID >= 2200. The [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] steps in and makes some trouble.

The untouched locked maps with MapID/FID >= 2200 will only work in older units without GMA awareness. In that case one can unlock with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
Otherwise for CX maps you have to run [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (or similar tool) for CN part. Some units also needs you to lower MMR MapID/FID to under 2200.

If you look at the end of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] there's now two patched CX version added.

Patched CX SP and RJ versions OK with JM KG v1.5 *.unl and FID=800.

I am newbie and need some directions to install new maps in my nuvi 3750. Can anyone help?
I just downloaded img map, connected cable and copied SouthAmerica_2012_30.img in folder Map. But when restarted GPS there is error massage telling that map couldn't be unlocked.

Whats wrong? Everything?

Hard to tell without more info. What .img did you download exactly, cn or cx, locked or unlocked? Is it locked & you haven't unlocked it? Try re-reading the earlier posts in this thread and look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and for CX use with 3750 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Post again with full info if you're still stuck.
