hi sori for being a noob, am a lil bit confused pls bear with me, i dl the file in post 21 and what i get is a webupdater from garmin type A file, what i need is a direct copy of cn phil 2011.31 img file if anyone can share.. if not thats ok, cuz i dont want to connect my unit to the updater, its using a sg/my firmware to enable junction view cuz my unit doesnt really have jv, and it might erase my firmware when i use the updater, thanx again!!

Is your unit a 3790US that is hacked to SG/MY firm in order to enable JCV? Can you please confirm this since I have the same unit? Is there no way to use the Philippines.JCV file in the typeA file with the 3790 Garmin Nuvi? Also, are JCV files associated with one map only, that is you can only use the philippines .jcv file with the 2011.30 map and not with other maps? Thanks.
