Why 2012.20 of JCV only 17.5MB, 2012.10 of JCV is 86.5MB, such a big difference? 2012.10 of JCV can it? Other gmap3d and 2012.10 versions of the same

Hi I think you will find that the previous larger JCV file was for the 3700 series and is the same content but in much higher detail, hopefully in time someone will upload the 3700 version but this will work in all compatible Nuvi models

The JCV file i provided here is from the 3700 series the smaller file is due to the junction view only uses half of the screen on a 3700 series
    with this map update
if you want the full screen view you need a JCV file from the 700-800 series

you can see what the 3700 series looks like now
    as per my example below

    Hi hulio

I always use 37xx JCV file to my 765 with full-screen because it has better picture quality
the screen is split in 37xx comes when you updated to firmware 4.10 so I do not think it has to JCV file to make

The JCV file from the 37xx i provided above seems to give only portrait view on the 765 not landscape view
the reason why this file is smaller with this map update from a 37xx is more than likely due to the the software update

The updated JCV from an updated 7xx is 28 MB and is in landscape view
    for the 7xx

    thanks for this.
I've downloaded gmapsupp.rar and copied onto my SD card.
i've noticed that on bootup, the copyrights are listed as 2009 and 2010, shouldn't this be showing 2012 or even 2011 instead?

i use a garmin 265WT and i've gone to the map info settings page and selected the correct map to use. Is there anyway i can check that the unit is using this new 2012 map?
