The GMA authentication tripped me up because I downloaded my map update from Garmin for my 1300LM. Running Map Reverse Converter and Garmin Unlocker didn't strip the authentication. I had to use Fast IMG Unlocker after the maps had been transferred.
It all works. I'm in the process of writing the tutorial, to add to the GMA authentication thread.
EDIT: I neglected to mention that this thread is still useful to me, because my download from Garmin doesn't include the JCV file. I already thanked the OP, so I don't need to do it again.

Folder is called "IMG" you have to rename the "IMG" folder in "CN North America NT 2012.10.gmap",
Copy GMAP folder in
(in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps)
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)

Sorry for this question ... Is this a gmapprom.img file that you can rename to "CN North America NT 2012.10.gmap" and use in Mapsource? Also which unlocker to use for this .. the one in the first post or the one linked by catymag? Thanks!

Regardless of how I try to download whether it be by "save as" in Firefox or a file downloader, when I try to extract I keep getting the message that crc failed in the encrypted file. Corrupt file or wrong password.
No files to exctract.
Even though the final downloaded size is exactly as specified. Can you please explain? Thank you.

It would help if you specified which files you were trying, and also since there are so many links, try another...Mapsource post 12 worked...

I have downloaded and installed the files on my Nuvi 765t and it seems to work great. Although I have no way of knowing if the lane assist function will work until I guess I actually approach and see the lane assist function. My question however is regarding the Mexico map you have posted. I have downloaded it and installed it on my SD Card (I put the other files on the internal memory of the unit) but when I check Map Info, I don't see the Mexico map at all. What am I doing wrong?

Hey guys, I have a 765t and I got the regular and 3d maps to work but I can't seem to get the lane assist or junction view to work. I put this file in my jcv folder on the internal memory and deleted the previous jcv file: D3060020A.JCV
Is this not the correct jcv file for my GPS?
