not sure if this refers to my post but how do i test this? the mapsource version is 6.16.3 patched (downloaded from this site)

Yes, this message referred to you. What I meant was, when u have City Navigator 2011.40 for example in Mapsource installed, and on your device is CN 2012.10 and u send the route from Mapsource and the "old" map to the device with the new map, then the above error message apears
