I know perfectly what map I'm using. I had to download it twice though, once from post 1 and once from post 7, because of the missing versioning detail.
So I have now 5.22 FID 1734, 5.22 FID 1868, and finally 5.23 FID 1868.

Anyway, imported in Mapsource no problem, then re-exported to the SD card of the nuvi 1xxx both 5.22 FID 1734 and 1868.
Trying to select any one address fails with "No available data in the map".

EDIT: copying the img into the sd and unlocking the image with fast img unlocker results in a perfectly working map. It must be Mapsource that it is not able to produce valid compiled maps with cyrillic base coding, and that would also explain why there is no city navigator for mapsource.

I also reveal a awful secret. For working in mapsource we need to special MDR files. If you steal it from Garmin or its dealers I bring myself my stones to you for your monument.

Are you think what you are King! Any body may use GMAPTOOL with any maps. But Russia in the least not the smallest country in world. How to find aim? It is only useless picture.
Use basecamp and no problem! Search and go!
Maps for Mapsource is good in next! You can load in device only selected region. Do you have this possibility on your picture?
I love mapsource and have Russian maps, but I am used for search Mapsource version Roads of Russia 4.5 (old map) and only when use new version for checking routing.

Is address search included? No? Then your offer is useless, cause we know howto do a a crippled Mapsource Version.
