Will this 3rd party firmware allow me to use the high-resolution JCV views that the original 1450 wouldnt do?

ah so even though i got the 1450 nuvi it doesnt support JCV files out of the box. But flashing the firmware to this 3rd party one allows me to add JCV files so that junction view works with files?

i would appreciate it if someone can post unlock img of Uk & Ireland only.
the big unlock image wont fit in my Nuvi255 internal memory (<2 Gb only) and i really have no need of the other maps.

You can download the mapsource (use the altered mapsource.exe) , then select only the UK and ireland. Then use unlocker program to unlock the img file and put that onto your machine.

unlock gmap 1.1.exe can't work,why? but fast img unlocker.exe can work for the map exported from mapsource.

HI re the 20 RAR files Unpacked but when I tried to instal batch file says access denied.
My mapsoursce is on "E" not "C" would this cause this problem if not any suggestionsLast edited by wombat772; 1st March 2011 at 09:07 PM.

Hi,
unlock gmap 1.1.exe didn't work for me it gets stuck on a file and after trying it for 2 or 3 times it finishes but doesn't unlock the map in mapsource 6.16.3 patched but I did manage to unlock it with UnLockMapSource_v1.5.rar so I suppose it works also with the latest version [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]Last edited by persep; 1st March 2011 at 04:19 PM.
