Managed to successful unlock GMAP and transfer to my SD card. However, I cannot do any POI search. All return no result.

Unit: nuvi 2465.

Appreciate any advise.

I have exactly same situation with the same type of device. The map and route works, and the search doesn't.
Can anyone help?

I am using the unlocked image on my 3790 and seem to have the same problem. Can anyone advise please?

i'm able to see 3d building using the gmap3d.img from post#1, by using it with the 2011.40 img map with unl to the 2011.40 img map.

Downloaded the unlocked img file from thread 1 but the map did not show up in my Garmin phone. Tried the torrent from thread 87. This map works fine with my Garmin Asus M10. But it seems the jcv file in thread 1 did not work with the map.

Also copied the map to my wife's Asus A50. Had to create a GARMIN folder in the SD card to hold the map to let it work. At first I copied the gmapsupp file to the system folder of the phone but the map did not show up that way.

I will travel to Canada. Is there a unlocking map only with Canada?

There may be an older version for Canada but Canada comes part of North America. Just download the entire North America map and if you dont want the USA maps then install the map onto your PC via Mapsource and just select the province(s) you will be in or download the Canada only version which is available via torrents if it's not posted in this forum.
