CityXplorer maps unlocked to work in Nuvis 37xx series

I've tried using the below instructions but have a problem.

"Maps are unlocked but for enhanced pedestrian mode you need additionally *.unl file generated with Jetmouse Keygen
Use JetMouse Keygen to create an unlock code for your Unit ID and Custom Mapset with MapID --> 800. Write the unlock code to text file with name *.unl.
Save as "all files"
Copy files *.img, *_3D.img if present and *.unl to Map directory on your nuvi or preferably to SD card.
These unlocked maps will work in Nuvi 37xx series too ,abilitating pedestrian mode and public transports features-"

I downloaded City Explorer New York City.
I renamed the map gmapprom1 and copied to my Nuvi 1350T in System Folder
The map appears when reviewing installed maps.
The gmap3d.img was also copied to the system folder, this map does not appear.

I am not sure which map needs the unlock key, I assume it's the gmap3D.img.
Used the jetmouse KG with checksum and generated key for Map ID 800, named it gmap3d.unl put in System folder, but map does not appear.
Tried renaming the file gmapprom1.unl thinking the main map needs to be unlocked, that still doesn't let the 3D map appear.
This map must appear for the enhanced pedestrian feature to work, according to Garmin this feature works on the 1350T.

Can somebody please explain what I did wrong.

3D map for buildings do not supported by all Nuvi 1xxx (inc. 1350T) in any mode, auto or pedestrain!!! See Garmin specification for your device in detail or owner manual attentively...

if 3D map is locked run on it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and dont add 3D map unl file
just add NewYorkCity_2011_10.unl created with notepad and fid 800 as explained , if you did it properly your map will show and will show 3D buildings too browsing it , 3Dmap will appear in map list.

Thanks for explaining, got it to work.
Created unlock file for the wrong map, not the 3D map but rather the City Explorer map.

Hi I cannot get public transport mode to operate. In the Melbourne, Sydney maps all the maps and 3d show will allow drive or walk but in test does not allow public transport I tried pid 1, and 2 keys to be sure, and used fid 800 although I see above you mention using the map id. Also as far as the key gen it would appear that in fact you could use exactly the same key so long as the unlock file has the correct name for the map

Why is there no problem when i extract the paris map, it has the unl files for both imgand 3d extracted. BUT for instance the Melbourne or sydney or adelaide maps etc have ONLY img map and thats it. Usually the unlock map with have unlock/locked folder for you and place it on sd and works. I have had very littlel problems with other maps using simple unlock sotware.
Im i missing the point? If the maps are Unlocked we should be able to extract and place in the sd card.
...Melbourne Navteq folder wthen extracted will show the navteq 3d map but the img map is "sensis" you may want to check it out.
Also i have fround this site so demanding on other software with jetmouses and so on when simple unlockers work fine, why bother? and chance at least "clear" details what to use instead of frigging around like im doing now. remember the paris worked and extracted great , but all the new ones seem to have issues as you said with unl file, that i cant find when extracted.

Probably, you havent read with care post n1, these maps, have been changed to use CX pedestrian features in 37xx series. These arent normal CXs.
To show these features you must create the .unl file with notepad and Jetmouse with FID 800, this is mandatory to show them.
In Melbourne rar is present the unlocked 3D map and it's unlocked, no need any tweak, you must create the .unl file for Melbourne.img file.
So copy the Melbourne 2 map in Map folder in sd: Melbourne.img Melbourne.unl (files must be named with the same name,different estension naturally) and the 3D map.
It will show and the unit will ask you if you want to use CX technology features.
In Melbourne Navteq rar I have Navteq files. I checked also Sydney and Adelaide: no problem

Just to confirm what issues i have... the Melbourne.Navteq file has a folder with 2 files. 1. is melbourne.sensis.img and other is
Melbourne.navteq.3d img...there is NO navteq img file? Whilst the Melbourne.sensis has exact file as in the navteq folder.
Now for the big problem.... i have spent a great number of hours trying to work out all the posts i can workout how to make a "unl" file. Unfortunately im stumped, i have opened up many other maps and had NO issues with NJ and Paris that has been posted here. Only issues with all the Australian xplorer maps.
Here is what i have . 3790T
I have Jetmouse 1.5...I enter the unit id from garmin found in "about" .
then select software product in jetmouse is only XT....in select map product <custom mapset> ...generated map unlock code....
NOW here is where all the confusion is....could you PLEASE explain in more and simple detail as you would for someone who has no idea (me) as i have tried to work out with all posts in forums. Also can you confirm please are all the xplorer IMG maps "unlocked" and that there is nothing you need to do with the maps, reason why, i found one post where how to "unlock a unlocked" img map, so i would just need confrimation after extracting the map file that there is nothing else needed to explorer img map or does it still need to be tampered with?
Thanks again, i hope we can get to the end of this confusion and if i have sucsess i will post my version of how to do this as many have asked and asked again and always refered to some other post.
