Hi catymag the files I was downloading where:

Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2011 30 gmap folder-
unrar and put the folder in Garmin map directory
    (in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps)
    (in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Maps)
    it will be in Mapsource
    unlock with JM

    download:
City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part1.rar (300 MB)
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part2.rar (300 MB)
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part3.rar (300 MB)
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part4.rar (300 MB)
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part5.rar (6,1 MB)
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

I am using 7 Zip and used Firefox to download but same result are there other links for the mapsource version.

And on an entirely different question is there any way to get Mapsource to store the Maps on a drive different to the System drive to save space on that drive.

    Thanks.

Just create a Windows shortcut named "City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap" in GARMIN\Maps directory that points to the "City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap" directory residing at another drive and/or directory location. Make sure the name of the shortcut ends with ".gmap" and NOT with " - Shortcut".

GARMIN\Maps directory for GMAP maps in Windows:
    Windows 7 & Windows Vista
Installed by Administrator user for all users - "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GARMIN\Maps"
Installed for one single user account - "%APPDATA%\GARMIN\Maps"

    Windows XP
Installed by Administrator user for all users - "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps"
Installed for one single user account - "%APPDATA%\GARMIN\Maps"

Each "Garmin GPS System" section has a INDEX sticky. They should be easy to find since they occur as sticky threads and the INDEX prefix is with red color.

Thank you Ballebar! I always assumed the key would go away when the uninstall routine ran. hahahaha. Very nice to be rid of the Unlock Wizard. It would not run if it found anything amiss and was a problem for me lots of times which is why I found ALL.BAT to be a blessing. Also, I was unaware of the UC tool that I now have. I routinely export the Garmin Reg keys as a backup just to be safe! Way too much effort to reinstall all the maps again.

Could you answer the question(s) I posed to Catymag reference the methods used that cause harm to maps, perhaps? Would be really nice to know which methods to avoid...

Perhaps an interesting aside to add to the above method for unlocking... When using this method of entering Keys, I tried looking at this method of unlocking and after clicking the ADD block, I found 12 entries of 60 some that say Map Product Not Installed amongst the other installed maps. It appears that these entries are left over from apparently failed attempts to enter keys for maps and these entries can be deleted without harming any maps installed. I have 245 maps installed and unlocked but only 60 or so show up in the ADD screen drop down. Perhaps most of 245 maps were installed using ALL.BAT for unlocking rather then entering a key using the Unlock Wizard, and therefore does not make entries into the registry which I think is what this column exposes?

After further research, I deleted the Maps Not Installed entries found in the region drop down and the serial number entries disappeared from the serials in the registry without any affect on the 245 working maps so I suppose my assumption about failed key entries showing as Map Not Installed is probably correct, something that may interest others with the same findings. That is, this actually helps to clear out bad serials entered into the registry using Unlock Wizard!

    Catymag,

Does using ALL.BAT or, using Gmap Reverse Converter (for 22xx maps and all others installing themselves under Doucuments\....\Garmin\maps\) then ALL.BAT harm or distort or inhibit any of the MapSource installed map functions such as Find or ? and if so, what method should be used so as to not harm the maps installed under MapSource? Have not found any thread addressing this point for the MapSource maps, only for IMG maps and even these discussions do not make it clear how to install/unlock images with no harm to them. Still somewhat confused on which of all availble methods that harm the map data. Thank you.
