Currently there is no SD card in the slot. All the map is in the head unit memory. I am able to plug my laptop to the unit via USB and access the map file which has a file about 1GB in size called "gmapprom" and also another file thats about 100MB called "gmapbmap"
Do you think I can just delete and place new map? I cant add because there is not enough storage space on the internal drive (think there is about 2GB total). If I put it on a SD card do I just copy paste?

You should be able to rename you new 2011 map gmapprom and replace it. Plug your unit into the PC and remove your existing gmapprom and store it somewhere safe then load the new gmapprom and restart your system should work fine if it is the unlocked version if not use fast unlocker v1.4 to unlock it first. the gmapbmap is your base map so leave it alone. Or as Texas Star said you could put it on a SD card but the above should work just make sure you save your original first (Cut/paste is good) Hope this helps you

hey guys I download all this files and i need help how to unlock and put them in the SD card .. I am not very good on that

I have no gmapdem file on my 3750. I updated legit.

1- Should it be there? Why is it not there?
2- Where can I get it for North America 2011.30? Is it in the full package on post 1 or is it a separate thing?

I saw a post in the forum with the terrain. It looks great! Thanks for your help.

If I recall correctly, the gmapdem is only for 3790, all other 37xx devices do not display it.
Same with 3D Buildings, this feature is also only for the 3790

Maybe gmapdem is only for 3790, all other 37xx devices do not display it, but I have a 3750 and I have 3D building with Chinese firmware v2.20 :D :D :D

This is why I want gmapdem to see if it will display on my unit.
