Garmin Turkiye Topo 10m 2007.06 (v2.00) - MapSource & IMG

Hi,

Is there any updated topo map for Turkey?
If so can someone share a link to it?
The sole I found was dated 2008.

Hope someone can help me out with a question.

I just installed Ballebar's MS version from post no2.

All went well and I've tested it in Mapsource and although the map seems complete and routes calculate without a problem, they don't have any elevation data (ie the profile tab is greyed out in mapsource on the route)

Is this how it is meant to work? ie the topo functionality is only available as contour lines on the GPS unit screen? Or did something go wrong with my installation?

Topo in post n2 gives just contours lines. If you want elevation data too download the one from post n1.

Sorry - a few additional questions on that point.

I'm assuming that means I can convert the img file from post 1 to mapsource and get the elevation data from within mapsource? Or only on the GPS unit if the img is placed directly on the SD card?

If I can use it within mapsource, can I install it with the mapsource version in post 2 already installed and would it show as 2 different maps or would I have to de-install the original mapsource version from post 2 first?

On both:pc with splitted files for MS and in gps after copying the .img

You can, you'll have both in MS
